past project highlights

Hans Christian Andersen - northwestern mainStage, july 2019

For the premiere of Tim McDonald’s fanciful family musical depiction of the fairy tale author’s life, directed by Rives Collins, I co-orchestrated experiences from simple lobby activities and an Evanston Public Library performance and crafting party to a Danish Folk Festival of dance, song, and food, to facilitate intergenerational conversation among our audience of families. Collaborating with Education and Outreach Director, Rachel Seidenburg, we offered opportunities for engagement among a variety of ages, learning styles, and interests.

Pictured below: tidbits from Andersen’s life, readable for patrons outside and inside the lobby for easily-digestible and engaging dramaturgy for audiences across all ages.
